Pink Floyd
Earl's Court, London, England
August 4th 1980

Recorder 2, 2nd generation

cass[2] > Technics RS-CH404 > SBLive > WAV@48khz > FLAC@48khz

Total time = 106:22m

1. Side A (42:36m)
2. Side B (41:36m)
3. Sice C (22:10m)

I got this either from pinkrudy or littlesheep, can't remember. It was like four lives ago. Average recording, but listenable. This is the concert with the
amusing start, the drums were off on the mix or started late for some reason.

Pink Floyd - 1967-1994 - Bear In Tree

Pink Floyd - 1967-1994 - Bear In Tree

(Studio FLAC)

Odd little compilation of rarities...

"Bear In Tree - 6 Rarities (info from cover liner notes)

"1. Pow R Toc H - Recorded 20 December 1967 for BBC Radio Programme "Top Gear". Most copies of this session in circulaton are from a recording of the February 1968 rebroadcast which omits the ending of this number. This is a completely untruncated version taken from a recording of the original December 1967 broadcast.

"2. Behold The Temple Of Light / The End Of the Beginning - Recorded 14 April 1969 Royal Festival Hall. Most copies of this performance in circulation are taken from a recording which is cut during this section. This is the complete segment via an alternative audience recorded source. From a mouldy old cassette with a drum heavy sound.

"3. Breathe (reprise) - Recorded December 1971/Janauary 1972? Very early instrumental version from a lyricless run-through rehearsal.

"4. Run Like Hell (demo) - Recorded 1978. Instrumental from the same session as the "Comfortably Numb" demo. From an old cassette labeled "DG Demos".

"5. Wearing The Inside Out (demo/backing track) - Recorded 1993? An instrumental version with David Gilmour to the fore. Originally from a cassette labeled "EMI/Sony premix '93".

"6. Money - Recorded 1994. Toe-tappingly to the point live rehearsal version. Originally from a cassette helpfully labelled "Oddments".

NOTES:
First Direct Arena, Leeds was opened in 2013 and holds around 12,500 for seated shows like this one.
The arena has a "super theatre" configuration with all seats facing the stage.

This is a very good audience recording from a big arena with a little bit of singalong.

The Eagles - Random Shows; 1977-2005

 The Eagles -

Random Shows;
1977-2005

Shows from a trading friend MauroR.

Background on my friend. He is a longtime collector and taper of shows who has amassed a rather large collection on both tape and CD, in addition to the stuff that is digital. He has been kind enough to share parts of his collection with others including myself, with the idea of getting some of this stuff back out into the collecting world. Or in the case of all the recent Springsteen shows, to rebuild my collection in lossless format.

Some of what he has sent me is in untracked wav format, each track being the side of a tape or a CD. I wish I had the time and/or talent to actually split these shows the proper collecting way, and then convert them to flac before I shared them with you. I know there are some folks out there who are able to do so, and they have posted the finished product on Tradersden to great reviews. That is just not possible for me to do.

But I have access to this forum to spread them to the masses. My contribution, sometimes, is just attaching info files and artwork that I have found on the internet. But the volume he has been sending out during this pandemic has grown rather large and I don't have the time to go through all of them.

I am trying something with these posts. I have some Eagles shows that were sent to me recently. I do not know if anyone else has taken them through the full process of tracking, converting, etc. Or if there is a better copy out there already. Below is a link to those shows, with no work done to them, possibly not even setlist.

So far I have done: Paul McCartney, the Band, David Bowie, U-2, Van Morrison, CSNY, Springsteen, The Animals, Roger McGuinn, The Clash, Jefferson Airplane, Linda Ronstadt, Paul Simon, Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Fairport Convention, The Who, Jackson Browne, and Eric Clapton. You can search random show and the artist name to find the post. I will continue to add shows for each of the artists to their links as I get them ready, so check back from time to time to see if there is anything new.

These shows may not be for everybody. I don't have lineage, or even quality, but once in a while a rare show appears. Also, you are getting the show just as it was heard by the taper.

Feel free to do what you want with these show, master, remaster, track, or all the other things I don't know how to do...... please just dont sell them.
